Registration for the 2009 season is now open. Tryouts for our U13 and
U15 teams will take place on Sunday, January 18th at Baltimore Lutheran
School in Towson, MD. U13 tryouts will run from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, and
U15 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. Registration for these teams will remain
open until this time. Due to overwhelming interest, we plan to limit
the number of kids trying out to 30 per team. If you are unable to make
these tryouts but are still interested, please e-mail Paul Gray at
looneyslax@verizon.net. He will let you know how to proceed. Please
refer to the registration section of our website for more information on
how to register. Tryouts for our U11 and U12 teams have concluded.
Looney’s 2008 inaugural season was a huge success. We fielded two excellent teams. Our U11 team won the championships in all 4 tournaments they played in (Upper Atlantic, Greene Turtle Invitational, Tri-State National, and Chocolatetown Shootout)! Our U13 team participated in 3 tournaments. They brought home championships in the Upper Atlantic and Tri-State Tournaments. They were the runner-up in the Summer Sizzle Tournament, losing the championship game by one goal in overtime!
Our goal for 2009 and beyond is to build on our current success, thus making Looney’s Lacrosse Club the premier lacrosse club in our region. We will continue to offer our boys a fun and educational environment to compete in national tournaments at the highest levels of lacrosse.

Looney’s Lacrosse Club for Boys and former Johns Hopkins two time National Champion, Jesse Schwartzman, are teaming up to provide skills training for boys aged 10 to 16. Jesse will be bringing along some of his teammates from Hopkins, as well as other schools to offer training for all positions.
Training will take place on November 2nd from 3:00 to 5:30pm at Hydes Road Fields. The 2 ½ hour session will encompass all facets of lacrosse. Sign up now to take advantage of this exciting opportunity!!
Meet some of the best lacrosse players in our region, such as Jake Byrnes, Kevin Huntley, and others. Jesse and friends will provide excellent training and fun for the kids, as well as various prizes and giveaways. The cost of the program is $45.00, please register online!
